The URBAN-15 Group is a multi-disciplinary arts organization devoted to Music, Dance, and Media. It started in 1974 as an experimental performance ensemble with fifteen artists making art with the city. After 40 years and an arts group and 32 years as a non-profit, URBAN-15 continues to use the city as a canvas, devoting its energies to creating original works and exciting educational programs for communities throughout Texas, Mexico, and the U.S. With innovative artistic productions which combine traditional culture, modern artistic aesthetics and creative technologies, URBAN-15 is creating a new folk art reflective of contemporary San Antonio while providing artistic access for our community.
