First Friday Artwalk History  Established in 1994, First Friday is San Antonio’s longest running artwalk anchored by the Blue Star Arts Complex. Founded by local artists and defined by the Southtown Alliance Group as “First Friday, this event started with a few artist run studios and today it has evolved into what it is now, an entire neighborhood experience.
