In 1998 we moved our frame shop and design company from the King William to Lone Star neighborhood, next to the tracks. Overgrown with weeds and littered with broken windows, owner Andy Benavides saw something. We wanted to serve a community that was not being served.

Art complex with 14 studios.

Twenty five years to date, in the heart of Southtown The Arts District, we are now home to ten exhibiting artist run spaces, creative business, an art education campus and host for Second Saturday Artwalk (founded by us in 1998). We are an anchor for the city’s art community and a beacon for creative expression. Community built us. Grassroots baby, all the way.
